Degli ammassi di materia, una serie di opere che parla di corpo, natura e vite dimenticate. Ogni pezzo di questa serie rappresenta una sezione anatomica del corpo umano, liberamente ispirata dalle illustra zioni scientifiche trovate nei libri delle scuole superiori e da atlanti di medicina universitari. La trasfigurazione av viene attraverso la simbiosi di essi con animali estinti appartenenti al Cambriano o al Carbonifero. La scelta di quale specie rappresentate è specifica e connessa alla scelta della sezione anatomica, in una narrazione che scava nelle storie mainstream dell’archeologia moderna, nelle incomprensioni umane di certe forme di vita e nella trasfigura zione dell’immaginario di vita biologica. Ogni essere, che appare qui sia come parassita che come autoctono, porta con sé storie, caratteristiche ed attributi donati dall’umano: come un riflesso dopo millenni della nostra stessa carne. Animali rappresentati: Hallucigenia, Anomalocaris, Mazothairos.

Clusters of matter, a series of works that speak of the body, nature, and forgotten lives. Each piece in this series represents an anatomical section of the human body, freely inspired by scientific illustrations found in high school textbooks and university medical atlases. The transfiguration comes through their symbiosis with extinct animals belonging to the Cambrian or Carboniferous periods. The choice of which species to represent is specific and connected to the choice of anatomical section, in a narrative that delves into the mainstream stories of modern archaeology, human misunderstandings of certain life forms, and the transfiguration of the imagination of biological life. Each being, which appears here as both a parasite and a native species, carries with it stories, characteristics, and attributes given by humans: like a reflection after millennia of our own flesh. Animals represented: Hallucigenia, Anomalocaris, Mazothairos.
